The No Matter Watt Trilogy follows a community of imperfect, lovable characters across three stages of life — past, present, and future — as they wrestle with self-destruction, synchronicity, and the search for meaning. No Matter Watt (2021) — The Original
In the first story, a man on the edge of his life spirals toward self-destruction. Set in an after-hours Los Angeles, he collides with a ragtag recovery circle of misfits, sponsors, skeptics, and surprise “angels” who refuse to give up on him. Through music, dark humor, and devastating honesty, he’s forced to ask a terrifying question:

We meet the circle in their early recovery: Bumdinger, Our Lady of Perpetual Disappointment, Hope, Annabelle, and the rest, all stumbling through secrets, shame, and improbable friendship. They’re messy, funny, and often wrong — but they’re learning how to stay in the room and show up for each other. The prequel reveals the roots of the relationships, wounds, and miracles that echo through the trilogy.

In No Matter Watt: Silver, the familiar community faces new losses, new temptations, and the quiet danger of complacency. A once-wrecked character now finds themself in a reluctant guardian-angel role, trying to keep other people’s lights on while their own flickers. Silver closes the trilogy with a blend of raw honesty, absurdity, and heart, reminding us there’s no straight line out of darkness — only progress.
